Caliburn G5, Xlim Pro 3 and Argus G4 compared

The UWELL CALIBURN G5, OXVA XLIM Pro 3 and VOOPOO Argus G4 are refillable pod systems. You fill the pod yourself with e-liquid and only replace it when the coil starts to lose its performance. The CALIBURN G5 stands out for its long battery life, the XLIM Pro 3 for its large display, and the Argus G4 for its multi-ohm pod.

UWELL CALIBURN G5: Battery life
The CALIBURN G5 has a 1,600 mAh battery. According to UWELL, depending on usage, it lasts up to six days.
The kit includes three pods, each with a 3 ml capacity: two GPP pods rated at 0.4 and 0.6 ohms, and one GPP ALPHA pod rated at 0.6 ohms. The ALPHA pod utilises AlphaCore technology and is said to last longer. Replacement GPP ALPHA pods are available in packs of three, with resistances of 0.6 or 0.9 ohms.
It is operated via triple-tap: tap three times to adjust the mode, display design and brightness. You can adjust the airflow continuously from a tight MTL draw to a more open draw.
OXVA XLIM Pro 3: Display and Power
The XLIM Pro 3 has the largest display of the three: a 1.05-inch colour display. You can set the power output between 5 and 30 watts. It charges via USB-C.
The 3 ml pods are filled from the top. The kit includes a 0.6-ohm and a 0.8-ohm pod. At 0.6 ohms, the draw is more open and the vapour is denser. With the 0.8-ohm pod, the draw is smoother, more of a classic MTL experience. Replacement pods are available in packs of three and are also compatible with other devices in the XLIM series.

VOOPOO Argus G4: one pod for everything
What makes the Argus G4 special is its multi-ohm pod. By turning it, you can switch between 0.7 and 1.0 ohms. You can also activate a 0.4 ohm mode on the device itself.
This means a single pod covers both MTL and more open RDL vaping. You don’t need a separate pod for each resistance setting. The battery has a capacity of 1,650 mAh, with a power output of up to 35 watts.

- You want a large display and to adjust the power yourself: OXVA XLIM Pro 3.
- You want to switch between MTL and a more open draw: VOOPOO Argus G4.
