Hybrid Systems
The best of both worlds: devices like the ELFBAR AF5000 or LOST MARY BM6000 pair a rechargeable battery with swappable refill tanks. You keep the convenience of a puff while saving money and e-waste, and neither taste nor performance takes a hit.

Frequently asked questions
- What is a hybrid system?
- A hybrid system couples a rechargeable device with swappable liquid tanks, for example the ELFBAR AF5000 or LOST MARY BM6000. You buy the device just once, then only swap the tank. The price per puff drops and you create less e-waste than with a disposable.
- Do ELFBAR tanks fit the LOST MARY?
- No, that won't work. Refill tanks are system-bound: AF5000 tanks only fit the AF5000, BM6000 tanks only the BM6000. Which tank goes where is listed on every product page at iVape.
- How fast does iVape deliver?
- Order on a working day before 5 pm and your parcel goes out the same day by Swiss A Mail, usually arriving the next working day in discreet packaging. Delivery within Switzerland only.
- From which order value is shipping free?
- From CHF 29 the shipping is on us. Below that, it adds CHF 4.90.
- What is the minimum age to order at iVape?
- 18 years. The Swiss Tobacco Products Act sets a minimum age of 18 for e-cigarettes, with and without nicotine. iVape therefore verifies the date of birth with every order and may request additional proof of age after the order.
A hybrid system bridges the simplicity of a disposable and the economy of a reusable device: a rechargeable battery plus swappable pre-filled refill tanks. Well-known models in Switzerland are the ELFBAR AF5000 and NX 7000 and the LOST MARY BM6000 and LUX 7000. Swapping a tank takes seconds, and a single tank delivers 5000 to 7000 puffs depending on the model.
The biggest lever is price. Because only the tank is replaced and the battery stays, the price per puff drops well below a disposable's, at the same taste and the same performance. And since you aren't throwing away a battery with every purchase, there's less e-waste on top.
As with pods, the rule holds here too: refill tanks are system-bound. An AF5000 tank only fits the AF5000, a BM6000 tank only the BM6000. Compatibility is listed on every product page at iVape. Charging is via USB-C, and a full battery usually outlasts several tanks before it needs the cable again.
Who is it for? Regular vapers who love the convenience of a puff but don't want to rebuy a whole device each time. Nicotine goes up to 20 mg/ml within the legal limit, plus 0 mg. Every hybrid system and tank at iVape is genuine, in stock in Switzerland, free from CHF 29 and sold to ages 18+.
